I was slowly running out of the pouring medium I had gotten for Christmas 2019. Instead of getting the same medium, I wanted to experiment. I found the top 6 mediums and experimented on stream with each of them. It was a very fun night and was very insightful to see the difference in each medium. I did also take three of them in another stream and added silicone to see how they reacted and created cells.
This was a fun experiment that created a stunning piece.
The Original Six. I hung them up next to each other to see how they all looked. It fascinates me to see how different they dried. Maybe one day I will do it again, maybe in a year to see how much I have grown and learned.

Paint and Folk Art Pouring medium.
Paint and Liquitex Pouring Medium
Paint and Golden Pouring Gloss Medium.
Paint and Deco Art Pouring Medium.
This is the set where I took three of the mediums and put a drop of silicone in each color. The difference one drop makes is crazy! I had to put them together in a picture to show the difference between just paint and medium to paint, medium, and silicone. The reactions are crazy!

Redemption. | There was a night of an art stream where nothing was working. All of the ideas I had, I ended up scrapping and starting over. It wasn't until the end that I made two pieces that I actually liked. I ended the stream feeling beat down. I slept hard that night and thought about putting the paints away for good. I woke up in the same mind set. After a few hours of stewing, a voice said "no, pull up your big girl pants, go get some more canvases, get colors you want, and fix this". Welp, am I sure glad that I listened to that little voice. Three paintings came out of that day. Camera was off, no music going. Just me and the canvas and the paint. It was my redemption after a horrible night. It brought me back to my love of doing this.
